Brea Historical Markers

Over the course of its 100+ year history, the City of Brea has undergone substantial changes. Once an assortment of small businesses that served the oil industry, Brea has grown to a nearly 12.5 square mile metropolis with a population of over 43,000. Home to various industries and entertainment venues, Brea is certainly a jewel in the crown of Orange County. Of course, with growth and change comes the demolition of the old to build the new. Many of the retail buildings and homes are gone, but they will not be forgotten.
