Do you love history or spending time at the Museum? The Brea Museum & Historical Society, which collects, preserves, and displays the history of the city of Brea, has three 2024 Summer Intern positions open, from May 24, 2024 through August 17, 2024
.
This is a volunteer, part time position. Interns are needed to conduct historical research, provide Docent tours, and assist with general tasks around the gallery on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays from 12-4pm. Flexible hours are also available.
We are also looking for several volunteers to engage with senior citizens over lunch. This is a pilot program funded by Meals on Wheels to help develop intergenerational relationships. Dates and times are yet to be finalized but the commitment will be a few hours each month over lunch (meals will be provided).
