Get Involved

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Brea Museum & Historical Society. Volunteers are vital to the success of the Museum’s many programs;  working behind the scenes and with the public. Simply put, we could not do what we do without the generous support of our volunteers!

The Brea Museum & Historical Society attracts a wide variety of volunteers from students to retirees. Providing support in all areas of the Museum’s programs, volunteers can engage directly with the public by giving Docent tours, work behind the scenes with our Curator on the collection, or work on any number of administrative tasks and projects. If you have an interest in Brea’s history and time to spare, we encourage you to apply to our program.

Hours vary based on the task so don’t hesitate to contact us directly for specifics. Special projects do not require a monthly commitment.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, submit a completed application, attend an in-person interview, and be able to volunteer a minimum of 3 hours per month.

If you think you might like to volunteer at the Brea Museum & Historical Society, please fill out a membership application. We would be honored to have your help. Please download the
Museum volunteer application here.
